Welcome

The Bryaar House clinic

The Bryaar House clinic has been opened since 1994 when Colin Bond (Founder) gained his accreditation from Tokyo in Kokusai Ryojutsu Gekuin-Seitai.

Colin and Debi Bond

Colin is one of only a handful of practitioners using this therapy in England. After being involved in a road traffic accident in 1989 and suffering major trauma to his neck and spine, Colin tried many different therapies. It was not until his Aikido master, Kanetsuka Sensei (Sensei-Japanese for teacher) suggested he visit a friend of his, Nakamura Sensei who had just arrived from Japan, that Colin experienced long term relief from the pain of his injuries. Because Seitai was the first treatment to alleviate his pain Colin decided to study it. After many months of treatment he became one of the first students of Sensei Nakamura and was the first to set up a clinic in England. Colin started practicing Aikido in 1978; he was awarded his Shodan (first black belt) in 1983, just a few months before his accident. He still holds weekly classes on Sunday mornings in Eton. Discovering Tai Chi in 1990,and finding it helped with his recovery he continues to practice daily and teaches it to patients on a weekly basis and privately.

Debi is a fully qualified beauty therapist who has a natural ability to co-ordinate colours and brings out the best in any skin type and colouring. All treatments are unhurried and in lovely surroundings, over looking the beautiful gardens at the back of the clinic. She has qualified to NVQ 2 level. As a Reiki practitioner she has compassion and empathy with everyone she works with. Debi will soon be offering aromatherapy, and Indian head massage. Seitai, Reiki, Beauty, and private lessons in Tai Chi and Chi Kung are all held at the Bryaar House Clinic in Burnham Lane. Aikido classes are held at Eton Collage on Sundays at 10:00 am. Colin also teaches the students there on Tuesday afternoon. Tai Chi classes are held at 7:00pm on Mondays, and 10:00 am on Wednesdays at two different venues in Burnham. Monday classes are Chen style and Wednesday classes are the short Yang or beginner's style.
